About Galaxy Sofas
Galaxy Sofas builds sofas around your space, your comfort and the way you actually live. We are sofa makers in Chennai, working to order from the first measurement to delivery.
Our story
A sofa should not simply fill a room. It should fit the people, the space and everyday life around it.
Galaxy Sofas started from a straightforward idea — bring well-made, comfortable and long-lasting sofas to homes in Chennai. What began as a workshop serving a few neighbourhoods grew into a name people pass on to family, known for honest guidance on materials and for finishing a job properly.
We still work the same way. You tell us the room, the seating you need and how firm you like a cushion; we plan the build, show you the options and keep you posted until it is in place.
Comfort lives here
How we build comfort
A clear five-step process, so you always know what happens next.
01
Room size, seating needs and how the space is used day to day.
02
Style, dimensions, configuration and the comfort you prefer.
03
Fabric, foam density, colours and finishes, with samples to compare.
04
Frame construction, upholstery and finishing in our workshop.
05
A final quality check, then delivery and placement in your room.
Built beyond what you see
Frame construction, foam density, stitching and upholstery decide how a sofa feels in year five — not just in the showroom. We would rather explain those choices than hide them.
Seasoned timber and solid joints, built for years of daily use.
Densities chosen per seat, so cushions keep their shape and support.
Even seams and clean corners — the detail you notice up close.
A wide fabric range, fitted and finished by hand in our workshop.
